Cherry blossoms in Myohoji River Park

Location: Myohoji river park, Kobe City

One fine day in April, I went to Myohoji River Park to see cherry blossoms.

I thought the cherry blossoms would have already begun to fall that day, but they were still beautiful enough, and many people were enjoying the cherry blossom viewing.

Many wild birds were gathering at the cherry blossoms that day, and I was able to see Barn Swallows for the first time this year. The swallows seemed to be preparing to build their nests.

I also saw Oriental Greenfinchs bathing in the water. It was the first time for me to see wild birds bathing, so I was very excited.
